The inaugural Gippsland Super 6 will be played at Yallourn Golf Club, November 7-10.  The exciting format which has been played in Perth at the World Super 6 event over the past three years will see 132 players battle it out over Thursday and Friday with a traditional 50+ ties cut made at the conclusion of the two stroke play rounds.  Saturday is well and truly moving day with the players who have survived the 2nd round cut needing to find their way into the top 24 by the conclusion of round 3 in order to qualify for the super 6 format being played on Sunday.  The top 8 after round 3 gain a first round bye on Sunday with 9th through to 24th going head to head in 6 hole matches.  The conclusion of the round 1 matches on Sunday will leave 16 players (round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and Final) to battle it out in head to head 6 hole matches until we are left with 1 winner
